Wanting to stay active, creative, and engaged during my senior years, I took up acrylic painting as a hobby. What began as a way to challenge myself and keep my mind young quickly grew into a true passion. Painting has become a source of joy, inspiration, and wellness in my life, proving that it’s never too late to discover a new creative path.

Spending six months each year in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, I have always been drawn to the beauty, color, and spirit of the Smokies. The mountain vistas, changing seasons, wildlife, and even the refreshing aroma of the evergreen forests inspire my work every day. Through my artwork, I strive to capture the peaceful moments, vibrant colors, and timeless character of the region we call home in Western North Carolina.

I enjoy creating both scenic landscapes and expressive abstract works, often blending bold colors with a sense of movement and emotion.
